If you are looking at an Assessment course slide-in and notice the attempts made are greater than the attempts allowed, it is usually caused when a portal administrator adjusts the number of attempts allowed AFTER you have already made more attempts under the original allowed setting.
It may look odd, but it’s actually a correct reflection of the current situation. If you see “5 of 3 completed” on the slide-in, you did attempt the assessment 5 times though the current attempt limit is now only 3.
