Customizing HTML pages or blocks can give your LMS portal a look and feel your employees recognize, in addition to providing information, instructions, and other communications to augment their learning experience.
Standard LMS HTML pages available for editing by portal administrators include the What’s New page, the login page, the self-registration page, and the My Learning page.
Note: When editing an HTML page, the LMS does not store versions for restoration to earlier revisions. We recommend that prior to customization, you copy and save the original HTML Source Code to Notepad or other text editor so that you can revert to the original if necessary. You can also copy the existing page, rename it, then make your edits in the copy so that the original exists for restoration if necessary.
To edit HTML Content:
You can also add new HTML pages by clicking Add under the HTML Content File field. You can then link to these new pages from within other HTML content, including adding them as links in the Quick Links menu.
Yes, it’s possible to do this by using the Add option on the Edit HTML page. Custom pages can then be linked in other HTML pages or displayed instead of the existing page in various branding settings.
For instance, if you create a custom page with all of your internal LMS support and help desk information, you could provide a link to that page on your login HTML page or the My Learning page to help your users contact you or your support desk for LMS assistance.
