The most common reason images don’t appear in the LMS emails received by users is that the portal administrator did not update the URL to the image as described in the procedures on the Manage Messages page.
Images that need to be viewed outside the LMS must be modified so that their URL contains the full path to the image.
First, make sure the images are uploaded to the LMS using Site Management > Edit Images. When selecting images using the Image button > Browse Server option, the URL placed in the source is incomplete, as shown below on the image at left. The URL begins with “/ui/formats/PORTALCODE/images/IMAGEFILENAME.JPG“. It needs to be updated to include the full path by adding https://lms.latitudelearning.com/ui/formats as shown below.
