Latitudelearning® announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning® LMS. It was promoted to production on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
Resources: On the Edit Resource slide-in of the Resource Catalog, we now allow the “Resource Type” drop down to be changed from one type to another. If changing from a File type resource to a non-File type resource, there is a warning message that the file will be deleted when changing the type and saving the resource. Additional warnings appear, as necessary, regarding impacts to courses using the updated resource in AI Tools.
AI Tools for Self-Study Courses: We have updated the new AI Tools for self-study courses to give portal administrators more control over how the AI Content for the Study Guide is generated, including toggles for all the various sections and when relevant, fields to input the number of items generated in a section. We also changed the way indexing the source materials works. It now indexes upon generation/re-generation of a study guide or AI assessment.
