LMS Release Notes – (3.0.0.98174)

Latitudelearning® announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning® LMS. It was promoted to production on Monday evening, July 7, 2025.

ENHANCEMENTS 

We are pleased to announce two enhancements to the LMS. Learn more about the details behind both of these updates HERE.

Resource Management and Access: We redesigned the manner in which Resources are managed and accessed in the LMS.

• Students will access Resources as part of Search Courses, which is renamed Search Catalog. The Resource Library menu option is removed.
• Administrators will use a new responsive interface to add and manage resources. They will be able to determine which Resources, if not all, are visible in the course catalog.

Password Reset Process: We updated our password reset processes in the LMS so that they generate an email with a link to a new password reset page. No password information will be transmitted over email. 

RESOLVED ISSUES

Courses: Made the following updates – 

• For self-study courses, fixed an issue in which changing the URL for Content Type = Link was not saving the URL properly.
• Fixed an issue which was causing a new resource not to be updated in the course when selecting a new resource.

Resources: Corrected an issue that was caused when a resource file is replaced and a different filename is used/uploaded. It was not removing the old file with the prior filename and not preventing duplicate file names.

User Merge: Fixed an error with user merge occurring when the old user had a position in which the position record itself was no longer active. This should only affect portals with positions they have been end-dated.
