Appearance Tab Help

This tab allows you to change the icon the represents the Learning Assistant and modify the labels displayed by the icon.

Icons

Optionally, select a Built-In icon from among those shown or use a Custom Image to upload your own.

Note: Upload an icon (.SVG or .PNG, max 500 KB, recommended 64×64 px, transparent background preferred). The floating button defaults to a blue background, so dark icons may need a full-color version with a round transparent background, or a stylesheet override on lms-learning-assistant-float-btn (or its inner img). For SVGs, a CSS filter in your stylesheet can override the color, but it is limited to one color — this tool can help generate the right filter value.

Placement

Select one or more areas where the Learning Assistant will be available for your learners.

  • As a Header icon
  • As a Floating Button that is always visible
  • On the Navigation Menu
Labels

Optionally, make changes to labels and descriptions or add translations to other languages after first setting up the English version. Areas that can be changed:

  • Icon Hover Description – shown when hovering over the icon
  • Left Navigation Menu Label – what it is called in the Navigation menu next to the icon

Note: the Default labels and descriptions provided are available in all languages shown at the bottom.
