LatitudeLearning® announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning® LMS. It was promoted to production on Sunday morning, May 11, 2025.
Assessments: The redesign makes it easier for students to navigate and complete Assessments. The updated interface has better mobile compatibility, allowing users to complete assessments on any device. Additionally, the visual elements have been improved to enhance engagement and student satisfaction. For portal administrators, the enhancement does not change any Assessment configuration or setup processes, but it modernizes the buttons and reorganizes their position on many of the Continue Test Setup configuration pages.
To learn more about this enhancement and how to use it, you can find more resources HERE.
Courses: Added new “Share” action icon button on the course slide-in that will allow a student to “share” or copy a direct link to the course.
Messages: Added new message variable [CourseDeepLink] that can be used in any of the course-related messages in the same way that [CourseName] or [CourseDescription] can be used in a message today. [CourseDeepLink] will be replaced with the same value as the “Deep Link URL” available for portal administrators on the Course View page.
Accreditations: When a new Program is added, the first time you access the Program Configurations after setting up the program, the “Allow End Dating” option will be checked automatically. The page will also display a bright gold warning indicator whenever a portal administrator makes changes that have not yet been saved. This warning may also appear when viewing existing Program Configurations to ensure they have been reviewed, updated as needed, and saved. This new default, however, will not change existing settings. Please note that this new default to enable Allow End Dating is global. We cannot customize the default to by individual portal.
Reporting: Corrected an issue with the Course Listing Classic report that was causing inactive courses to display as active. Updated to include the course start date in the calculation.
User Import (P2P Portals): Improved error handling and logging around Person-to-Person (P2P) manager connections in user import.
