One of the most common first-time mistakes is forgetting to establish the question pool. If you’ve added all of your questions for each objective, you must then edit each objective to tell the LMS how many questions to ask from the total number included in the objective. If you didn’t during development, you’ll need to edit the course, choose Continue Test Setup again, then edit all of the objectives to fill in this field.
In this example, all questions are mandatory so the # of Questions to Ask must be 3. Other situations could be: The current count is 20 with 10 mandatory questions. The # of Questions to Ask must be at least 10 to cover the mandatory level. If you enter 15, it will choose 5 non-required questions from the 20 question pool and the 10 mandatory ones.
